Directions for Use: (To make approximately ½ liter Rasam)
• Cook 35g (approx ¼ cup) toordal in ¼ liter. water (approx. 1 and ¾ cups) with ¼ tsp. turmeric powder.
• Mash the cooked dal and add required quantity of tamarind juice and 1-2 cut tomatoes (optional)
• Add ¼ liter. Of water and add the contents of this pouch.
• Add salt to taste and boil for 10 minutes and add ½ tsp. of ghee.
• Fry red chillies, mustard seeds and curry leaves in ½ tsp. oil and add to the rasam.
Note: Reduce dal content for thinner consistency rasam
