Directions for Use:
• To 1 volume of mix add 1 ½ volume of sour curd and mix well to a smooth batter with no lumps.
• Add finely chopped coriander leaves, ginger, green chillies to the Mix (Optional) and allow the better to stand for 5 minutes.
• After 5 minutes mix the batter well again and pour into oil smeared cups of the idli stand and place stand in cooker or vessel (Do not use weight on lid when cooker is used).
• Steam cook in the idli cooker or idli vessel for 10 minutes.
Note: Sour Curd is necessary to prevent yellow color in the cooked product. Squeeze lime in the curd if it is not sour.
100g of Rava idli Mix Makes 5-6 cooked ldlis approx. of 45-50g each.
Serving Tip: Serve hot with Coconut Chutney, Potato Sagu or Sambar.
